Mass Media Is Used to Control the Masses
"Through international news agencies, they mold your minds and have you see the world not as it is, but as they want you to see it. Through their cinema, they are the educators of our youth - and with just one film in two hours, can wipe out of a child's brain what he has learned in six months in the home, the church or the school." - Adrien Arcand, Canadian political leader of the 1930s
Brainwashing (also known as mind control, menticide, coercive persuasion, thought control, thought reform, and re-education) is the concept that the human mind can be altered or controlled by certain psychological techniques. Brainwashing reduces its subject's ability to think critically or independently in order to allow the introduction of new, unwanted thoughts and ideas into the mind, and to change attitudes, values and beliefs.
